PayPoint Romania announces the expansion of its partnership with the local courier market leader, FAN Courier, in the parcel delivery segment through the PayPoint Colet Expres service. Thus, from now on, consumers can also deliver to selected PayPoint partner stores the parcels they want to send or return, through the service offered by FAN Courier. Currently, there are more than 3,000 PayPoint Colet Expres stores available nationwide and the number is growing.

The PayPoint Colet Expres service was launched to the market seven years ago, when the company signed a partnership with FAN Courier. The decision to expand this collaboration came from a desire to diversify the service portfolio in line with user demand and their increased appetite for proximity and convenience.

To take advantage of the new option of sending envelopes and parcels via the PayPoint Colet Expres service, the consumer must place the order on the www.fancourier.ro website or on FAN Courier’s own/partner platforms, opt for delivery of the parcel to a nearby PayPoint Colet Expres store and present the AWB, in physical or digital format, at the chosen location. PayPoint Colet Expres stores can also be used to pay for the shipping service, in cash, if the shipment/return has not been paid for in advance by other payment methods.

“Extending our partnership with FAN Courier is a natural step in the evolution of our parcel service and comes in response to market needs and user recommendations. PayPoint Colet Expres was born out of a desire to provide a secure, fast and flexible parcel delivery solution; in these 7 years of partnership with FAN Courier, users have appreciated the ability to pick up parcels from nearby PayPoint Colet Expres locations at a time convenient to their schedule. Now we also offer them the added service of parcel delivery or return. We are confident that this new option will be a success and are working hard to expand it to as many PayPoint partner stores as possible across the country,” said Utku Ogrendil, CEO PayPoint Services.

Therefore, by choosing PayPoint Express Parcel, consumers can pick up or drop off parcels simply, safely and quickly, directly from their local PayPoint store, at a time that suits their schedule. At the same time, they can make their household payments through the PayPoint system, as well as their everyday purchases in stores that are open late, often on weekends.

“As part of our commitment to be as helpful as possible to both our customers and the community, we have made the decision not only to continue, but expand our partnership with PayPoint. The Collect Point service, run by FAN Courier in the PayPoint Colet Expres network, is one of the first out-of-home delivery services in Romania and came in response to market demand. Our customers want an easy and flexible service to pick up their orders online, but also to deliver parcels or returns. That’s why PayPoint Colet Expres locations close to home or work support them with extended working hours and numerous related facilities. In addition, deliveries and pick-ups from convenience stores are more efficient, sustainable and easier to integrate into the operational process – very important aspects for our company. We are confident that more and more customers will access FAN Courier’s services through the PayPoint Colet Expres network and we will work with our partners to expand the network and constantly develop this service,” said Bogdan Dumitriu, Out of Home Delivery Director FAN Courier.
