eMAG becomes Apple certified partner, aims to triple sales of Apple products next year

IT&C online retailer eMAG has been certified as Apple Authorised Reseller, which is expected to boost its sales of Apple products. “The new status of eMag in relation to Apple and our common plans make us think that our sales will increase threefold next year compared to 2010 as far as the entire Apple range is concerned,” said Radu Apostolescu, eMag marketing manager.

eMag was certified following an audit. The main aspects that Apple audited in the certification process were the quality of services, consultancy and expertise in Apple products, marketing and customer relations policies, technical support and the ability to record and publish online the opinions and recommendations from users. eMag will receive support from the Apcom team, which is the only Apple certified distributor in Romania, and will run together promotion and sales projects.

The online retailer will train its sales team to be able to offer consultancy online and in the company’s showrooms. There will also be dedicated areas for the Apple range in the eMag showrooms.
