Its role is to create synergies capable of bringing to the markets of Bulgaria and Hungary the programs that eMAG has successfully developed in Romania, in the new stage of its evolution.

“In recent years we have created solutions to help people organize their lives as simply and accessible as possible, which made e-commerce an option for everyone: the fact that we can pick up an order from wherever we want, and at whatever hour, that we no longer pay for transport because there is Genius or that money is no longer a problem because we already have it in our eMAG My Wallet account are natural today. We are now at the point where we aim to scale all the solutions we have developed in recent years so that they can be enjoyed by as many people as possible in the entire regional ecosystem, and we are glad that Mircea has accepted this challenge alongside us. We have already been through successful projects together, such as the biggest Black Friday ever, and I continue to trust that his arrival will help us achieve our future goals. “I am happy to be part of the team of a strong Romanian brand, which I have admired for several years for the agility and innovation capacity it has brought to the retail space in the Central and Eastern European region, contributing decisively to the reshaping of modern retail. I found an organization that moves at a speed I haven’t seen anywhere else, and a team that is genuinely concerned, day in and day out, about one thing: identifying solutions to solve people’s problems. Common values and principles unite us, so I am convinced that we will build memorable things together,” said Mircea Tomescu.
