In a phase of sustained growth, eMAG Group strengthens its top management team and appoints Bogdan Văduva, a professional with a solid experience in audit and consulting, in the role of Group Chief Financial Officer. From his new role, Bogdan will contribute together with his team to achieve eMAG Group’s ambitious medium and long term development goals by identifying new growth opportunities and accelerating younger businesses, aiming at sustainable growth across the region.

A professional with over 22 years of experience in audit and consulting, including 20 years in the KPMG team, Bogdan has steadily evolved from a senior consultant role to partner in 2012 and member of the executive team, where he has been for the last five years. Throughout his career, Bogdan has led multi-disciplinary teams on major projects in industries ranging from energy, infrastructure, pharmaceuticals, retail and FMCG, including assisting with listings on the Bucharest Stock Exchange and London Stock Exchange.

“Bogdan brings solid business experience to the eMAG team, which will help us achieve our ambitious growth goals through a unified approach across all markets in which we operate, creating added value across our entire ecosystem. Bogdan comes with a lot of energy and a desire to make his mark on the evolution of a large business in an extremely dynamic and forward-looking field,” said Tudor Manea, CEO of eMAG Group.

“After more than 20 years of consulting experience, I accepted the challenge of joining a locally born entrepreneurial champion with regional reach, understanding that this is not an opportunity that comes along often. I’m at a stage in life where I still have a lot of energy, the desire to grow and learn and I believe in the story of eMAG, which has come up with an innovative approach in Romania, definitely changing the way we shop and entering people’s daily routine. I am extremely honoured to be able to further contribute to a Romanian success story,” said Bogdan Văduva, CFO Group eMAG.

A graduate of the Bucharest Academy of Economic Studies, Bogdan continued his education at Harvard Business School, where he took courses in leadership development and organizational leadership. Prior to KPMG, Bogdan worked at Arthur Andersen, EY and Deloitte.
