The 56,000 sellers who sell on the eMAG regional Marketplace in Romania, Bulgaria and Hungary registered 23% more orders last year compared to the previous year. This growth was supported by the programs that eMAG developed in the last three years marked by investments that amounted to RON 251 million to support entrepreneurship. Only in the last year, the share of products sold by sellers on the eMAG platform reached over 60% in all three countries.

The data was presented today during Sellers’ Day 2024, a hybrid regional event dedicated to entrepreneurs who sell on the eMAG Marketplace, attended by more than 1,300 sellers from Southeast Europe.

“Wherever they operate, all sellers on the eMAG Marketplace platform benefit from the same package designed to ensure their sustainable growth: the cross-border program, Fulfillment by eMAG, Genius, recently launched in Bulgaria and Hungary, or the Ads program. Through these easy-to-access programs, they can reach customers in the three countries more easily, without having to make the investments that opening new territories entails,” said Stejara Pircan, Senior VP eMAG Romania, Bulgaria and Hungary.
