Drivers all over the country will be able to pay for their RCA insurance policies through the PayPoint network

PayPoint Romania, the leading operator of cash payments for a wide range of services offered in retail outlets, announces the expansion of its partnership with Scala Assistance: drivers in Romania can now also pay for their RCA policies in the approximately 20,000 PayPoint partner stores across the country.

The new service is available to customers thanks to the agreement between PayPoint and Obsidian Insurance-Reinsurance Broker, Scala Assistance’s broker. PayPoint and Scala Assistance have been collaborating since 2015 to offer the service of paying the vignette in PayPoint yellow logo stores across the country, a service that has become very popular over time, especially among Romanians who do not have alternative channels nearby.

Transactions are simple, secure, fast and without commissions. To pay for an RCA policy, the driver visits a PayPoint partner store and approaches the salesperson, who fills in the car’s registration details on the terminal (this allows for automatic pre-filling of vehicle information) and certain user data (including phone number and email address) necessary for the payment of the RCA policy. At the end, the consumer pays with cash, and the terminal issues the receipt related to the collection of the value of the RCA, the policy being sent by the Brokerage Assistant at the email address provided. The service of collecting the value of an RCA policy is available to both individuals and legal entities.
