Top management changes at Flanco and eMAG

Starting February, Violeta Luca (in picture) will be the new vice-president and executive director of online retailer eMAG, which currently also runs a network of 10 showrooms located in Bucharest, Iasi, Brasov, Ploiesti, Cluj, Timisoara, Constanta, Craiova, Oradea and Galati. She will be part of the management board of the company and lead commercial activities such as acquisitions, sales, marketplace, logistics, showrooms and category management.

Luca will also be keeping her position as president of the Flanco Retail management board.

She joined the Flanco Retail management in August 2011 as marketing director. Previously, she worked for 8 years at Whirlpool Romania, where she was appointed commercial director starting June 2007.

She has 13 years of experience in the electroIT field and graduated from the Academy of Economic Studies in Bucharest.

 Dragos SirbuDragos Sirbu (picture left), currently product management director at Flanco Retail, will become the new CEO of the IT&C retailer which currently employs 900 people and a network of 81 stores in 50 cities.

Sirbu has 15 years of background in electro-IT retail, and worked his way up the scale from sales consultant to store manager, retail director and director of acquisitions.

In 2012, he joined Flanco as sales director and in February 2013, he took over the lead of the product management department.

He graduated from the Academy of Economic Studies in Bucharest, the Finance, Insurances, Banking and Stock Exchange Faculty.
