PayPoint and FAN Delivery Express offer a new facility to shippers

PayPoint Romania and FAN Delivery Express, the online platform for personal shopping with fast delivery launched by FAN Courier in 2021, now offer deliverers a simple and fast way to deposit the amounts received. Thus, thanks to this collaboration agreement, the deliverers can hand over the accumulated cash in one working day at any nearby PayPoint payment point.

The new facility can be accessed by all shippers and is available at any of the approximately 20,000 PayPoint partner stores. This service will provide high flexibility for delivery people across the country, as the PayPoint network has national territorial coverage, with more than half of the partner stores being positioned in rural areas. Also, deliverers in the urban environment will be able to easily plan their cash receipts along the route, benefiting from more than 2,000 collection points belonging to the large modern retail networks.

“The facility offered to our suppliers contributes to strengthening the partnership with PayPoint and, at the same time, represents a solution that offers them safety and efficiency in carrying out their daily activities. The simplified flow of depositing cash picked up by a delivery person during the working day will help us to eliminate bureaucracy and have a clear record of receipts in real time”, said Dragoș Arnăutu, CEO of FAN Delivery Express.

Deliveries can deposit up to 5,000 lei per day, during the operating interval of each partner store. The procedure for depositing money is simple: deliverers must present a barcode in electronic format to the cashier in the PayPoint partner store, based on which they will deposit the amounts accumulated during the working day.

The service is an extension of the already existing partnership between PayPoint and FAN Courier, the leader of courier services in Romania. Deliveries can enjoy the advantages of the extensive network of PayPoint partner stores that end customers already benefit from, such as extended presence in localities across the country, proximity or extended hours.

PayPoint, the main operator of cash payments and electronic top-up through retail points in Romania, thus completes its product portfolio in the cash deposit segment, a segment that the company wants to expand in the future, through new collaboration agreements.
