Leroy Merlin has invested EUR 2 million in relocating its store in Electroputere Parc Craiova

Leroy Merlin, a retailer specialising in construction, decoration and gardening, inaugurated today, 19 June, the new store in Electroputere Parc, Craiova, relocated in the same shopping centre, on an extended surface. The new store is now in the top 3 of Leroy Merlin locations countrywide, in terms of surface area. The total investment in the relocation amounts to EUR 2 million, with the aim of offering an easier shopping experience in a 16% more generous space, especially in the areas dedicated to building and garden materials.

The store, located at 80 B Calea București, is open to the public from Monday to Saturday from 07:00 to 21:00 and on Sundays from 08:00 to 20:00. The new Leroy Merlin in Electroputere Parc has a total area of 14,750 square meters, compared to 12,600 square meters previously, with around 400 parking spaces and a staff of 160 well-trained employees who will provide customers with advice for an efficient shopping experience.

In the new DIY store, Craiovans and beyond will have access to an offer of products in a variety of categories, from building materials, gardening, decoration, plumbing, tools, home renovation products, or solutions for home projects – bathrooms and kitchens etc. Customers will also have access to the kitchen showroom which also features Leroy Merlin’s own-brand DELINIA ID range, a concept extended to all stores in the country.

At the same time, those who step through the doors of Leroy Merlin Craiova will have at their disposal the whole range of useful services and solutions, specific to Leroy Merlin stores, from the made-to-order PVC windows service, to the 3D kitchen configuration, kitchen fitting, payment in installments by debit card or the financing service through partner Oney.

Next, the DRIVE IN area allows drive-in access to the building materials area, making purchasing more efficient for customers.

In addition, customers can use the pick-up service for a variety of heavy-duty products such as tiles, floor tiles, flooring, kitchens, plumbing. So, once the products have been picked, employees will deliver them directly to the customer’s car.
