Pehart Group, the largest converter of paper products for household and industrial use in Romania, but also in South-Eastern Europe, has launched in April two new line of premium two- and three-layer facial napkins for Pufina and Alint brands.

Produced on a fully automated line, from the first to the last production process, the new assortments of Pehart facial napkins are premium quality. With a durable and ultra-thin paper, facial napkins have a high resistance to moisture, do not degrade easily and are delicate to the skin. The packaging comes in different sizes and shapes – cube, rectangular etc. – they are recyclable and adapt perfectly to the most varied requirements of customers. The investment in the new lines of facial napkins amounts to 2 million euros.

Pehart Grup announces that it will produce approximately 6,000 tons of facial napkins on the new Pufina and Alint lines per year. These new Pehart brand products are intended for both the Romanian market and exports. The company will also produce branded products for the large retail chains present in Romania.

”Increasing the quality and competitiveness of Pehart products is among the company’s top goals this year”, says Rauno Kakko, COO Pehart Group. ”We aim to diversify our range of retail products, while remaining equally focused on achieving a premium quality level. Investments in new production lines with state-of-the-art technologies, some of which are among the first of their kind in the world, will help us differentiate in the market through the particularities of our products – durable paper with a high degree of fineness, attractive and recyclable packaging. At the same time, increasing the quality and diversifying the offer will also help to strengthen the company’s position on the European market. With all the products we launch we want to respect the basic principles of Pehart: believing in innovation and technology, in responsibility towards the community in which we operate and respect for nature”, the COO of Pehart Group also added.

Pufina is the second brand of household paper in Romania and also the one that recorded in 2021 the largest increase in value on the household paper market compared to the previous year, 18.4%. One of the most successful Romanian brands present on the profile market for 20 years, Pufina is already exported in 5 countries near Romania (Bulgaria, Moldova, Serbia, Austria and Germany).

Made of 100% cellulose, Alint products, another Pehart brand, target buyers who seek quality, durable and economical paper products with an excellent quality / price ratio. The Pufina and Alint brands include a wide range of products, from toilet paper and kitchen towels to napkins and handkerchiefs. Variants of luxury products, family packages, products for children or with a special focus on sustainability are also available (such as Pufina Natura products, with innovative 100% biodegradable and 100% compostable packaging, which turn into soil food).

Pehart annually produces 100,000 tons of tissue paper in its two factories in Sebeș and Dej and has a finished products processing capacity of over 75,000 tons. 70% of the entire quantity of household and industrial products is sold in Romania, and the company ensures the production for a large part of the own brand products of the retail chains. Pehart Group is present with household and industrial products in 18 countries in Central, Eastern and Southern Europe and owns the Pufina, Alint and Altessa brands, but also produces jumbo rolls, large paper rolls, for industrial customers and for its own consumption.
