SkyTower, the iconic landmark of Bucharest and the tallest building in Romania, proudly announces that it has secured leases for more than 3,000 square meters of prime office space in the first quarter of 2024, attracting interest from both local and international companies. The leases signed until 2024 show the growing attractiveness of SkyTower for various business sectors such as renewable energy, artificial intelligence, digital currency trading platforms, retail and agriculture.

SkyTower’s modern infrastructure, focused on security and sustainability, and its range of unique facilities, backed by premium services, community activations and strategic location, have led to the signing of new leases with the following companies:

  1. DATAWORKS RESEARCH SRL – A Romanian company with a US shareholding structure specializing in artificial intelligence and databases. DataWorks Research SRL is at the forefront of innovation, leveraging cutting-edge AI technologies to drive data-driven insights and solutions for businesses across various industries.
  2. BITPANDA GMBH VIENNA SUCURSALA BUCUREȘTI – Bitpanda was founded in Vienna in 2014 and is one of Europe’s leading crypto brokers. With a selection of over 2,800 digital assets, including more than 400 crypto assets and numerous stocks, ETFs, precious metals and commodities, the Austrian fintech unicorn offers one of the most comprehensive ranges of digital assets available in Europe. Already trusted by over 4.5 million users, and dozens of institutional partners, Bitpanda holds licenses in several countries, and has a proven track record of working with local regulators to keep assets safe and secure. This makes Bitpanda one of the safest and most strictly regulated trading platforms in the industry.
  3. AJ CONSTRUCTION SRL – A Romanian company specializing in renewable energy. AJ Construction SRL is dedicated to advancing sustainability through the development and implementation of renewable energy solutions. With a focus on innovation and environmental responsibility, they contribute to Romania’s transition to a greener future.

“Within the Romanian market of premium office buildings, SkyTower has clearly distinguished itself over time, which is the main reason why more and more companies are choosing to become our tenants. The tower is attractive for its comfort, innovative high-tech features, sustainability and resilience, but also for its level of service and the uniqueness of exclusive community events. As of today, all the rentable office space in the tower is already leased and until new office space becomes available in a few months, we are maintaining a waiting list for new potential tenants,” stated Leo Forstner, CEO of RPHI Romania – the company that owns and manages SkyTower.

As SkyTower Bucharest remains committed to providing an exceptional working environment and supporting the growth of its tenants’ businesses, the tower closed 2023 with two major year-end lettings:

AOT ENERGY SRL, an energy company belonging to the international group ArrowResources AG based in Switzerland, recently moved into SkyTower’s 20th floor, and Blankfactor SRL, a global provider of end-to-end digital transformation technology solutions for global financial services, is now the sole tenant of the tower’s 35th floor, the highest office space location in a Romanian office building.
