Corporate segment is main business driver for AVIS in Romania

The corporate segment remains the main driver of Avis Romania’s business, a global provider of mobility solutions. Although business car rental requests are more cautious, there is a notable increase compared to the years immediately following the pandemic, according to company data.

Romania is not yet a popular tourist destination as other European countries, and the corporate sector remains predominant for Avis, according to the company’s information.

The data shows that the present economic landscape has led to a rise in car rentals among domestic corporate clients, while the main factor that influenced international travel is the need for Romanian businesses to engage with foreign markets. Among the clients requesting Avis’s corporate services are both large companies with strategic projects in Romania and small firms with 1-2 employees. Avis remains committed to providing tailored programs and competitive rates to meet its client’s diverse needs.

Italy, Spain, Germany, and the USA have generated the highest volume of business car rental requests to and from Romania. Additionally, there have been special requests for exotic destinations, such as Guadalupe for long-term projects, and South Africa, where there have been occasional rentals.

Avis provides personalized solutions for corporate clients to optimize and improve the comfort of business travel. They include access to rates that offer protection in case of accidents or theft and payment of the service via bank transfer, without the need to present a card at the rental office. The entire process can be assisted by a specialized department, from booking the car to returning it. This means that the client only needs an ID and a driver’s license to pick up the car, which is chosen according to its needs and often awaits him directly at the airport.

Avis provides convenient and reliable services to improve business travel experiences, in Romania and abroad.
