The International Chamber Music Festival returns to Brasov

In the month of April, music enthusiasts and art lovers are cordially invited to immerse themselves in the new edition of the International Chamber Music Festival, an event set to deliver an unforgettable spring on the stage of the Patria Hall. Organized by the Brașov Philharmonic between April 5th and 13th, the festival will showcase some of the brightest names in Romanian and international music in the city nestled at the foot of Mount Tâmpa.

Artists such as Florin Ionescu-Galați, Alexandra Fits, Valentin Șerban, Ioan-Dragoș Dimitriu, Ștefan Cazacu, Filip Papa, Sebastian Tegzeșiu, and Horia Mihail, to name just a few, will share their passion for chamber music with the audience. Together with their international guests, they will perform significant works from the classic and contemporary repertoire.

The International Chamber Music Festival, established in 1970 by maestro Ilarion Ionescu-Galați, returns for its 43rd edition after a hiatus of several years. This series of events offers a rare opportunity to fully experience the intensity and intimacy of chamber music in an environment that promotes artistic excellence. Tickets are affordably priced at only 50 lei per event (with discounted tickets also available at the Patria Hall box office), making this high-quality cultural experience accessible to a wide audience. Additionally, organizers offer a discount for the most ardent chamber music fans: by purchasing tickets for all festival events, attendees will receive 9 tickets for the price of 7, an excellent opportunity to enjoy the full range of recitals and performances.
