Redport Capital, a group of companies founded by Cosmin Savu – Cristescu in 2016 and specialized in construction, investment, development and real estate project management, has recently shared it’s long term vision with Business Review: through its two projects, The Level Apartments and Infinity Nord, the company has concentrated it’s efforts in regenerating the Străulești area and turning it into the “New North of Bucharest.”

Redport Capital has bet on the Străulești area since 2017 by initiating the first phase of The Level Apartments project. In the present, the success of the project is reflected in the complete sale of phases I and II, but also with the construction of phases III and IV scheduled to begin in the autumn of this year.

The first phase of the project, consisting of 45 apartments, was fully sold and delivered in 2020, following an investment of 3.5 million euros. The second phase of the project is currently in the process of being delivered this year, comprising 130 apartments and resulting from investments totaling 12.5 million euros. Through phases three and four, a total of 400 residential units will be delivered by 2026, with a total investment of 40 million euros.

“At Redport Capital, we strive to bring value to all the projects we develop by building for the future with bold achievements. This is why one of our guiding principles is a long-term and very long-term vision. Only by doing so can we have a holistic perspective and make the best strategic decisions. We can proudly say that we were among the first to identify the potential in the historic area of Dămăroaia, specifically on Străulești Road – an emerging area in the local real estate market. Accessibility, proximity to the largest park in Romania, and the upcoming new metro line connecting the city center to Otopeni are some of the strongest arguments for the sustainable growth of the area. For this reason, Străulești is the newest development hub in the northern part of the capital – the New North of Bucharest, as we like to call it.” Redport Capital representatives told Business Review.

The success achieved by The Level Apartments project has laid the foundation for what will be Infinity Nord – a total investment of 150 million euros, one of the largest urban regeneration projects in Romania. It is a project designed with respect for the city and its surroundings, but above all, for the people who will live there. It brings together the best teams from the country and international teams as well.

The master plan and concept design of the Infinity Nord project were developed in collaboration with a reputable architecture firm from London – Design International. They have contributed their extensive experience gained from successfully completing projects worldwide over the past 60 years.

“Infinity Nord is a project that embodies what every project should strive to be. We have paid attention to every detail and put the comfort and safety of future community members first, as well as the pleasure of coming “home” at the end of each day. The project adheres to international standards. We are talking about a neighborhood designed with respect for its residents, built with respect for nature and the surrounding space.” Said the representatives of Redport Capital.

Infinity Nord spans across a land area of 44,000 square meters, with a total buildable area of 125,000 square meters and a total investment of 150 million euros. The project will be developed in 4 phases, with the first phase commencing this year (2023), and will include a total of 1,250 apartments, retail spaces, medical and educational facilities, as well as 1,500 parking spaces.

From a structural standpoint, the project will incorporate a smart building system and a prototype smart city system to cover the entire neighborhood. For example, there will be photovoltaic panels to provide lighting in common areas.

Designed around unique and futuristic elements that encourage the idea of urban mobility and sustainable development, Infinity Nord includes large outdoor recreational areas, playgrounds, retail spaces, and a central area called Infinity Plaza. Infinity Plaza is envisioned as a landmark within the complex, a future meeting place for the members of the community.

Architecturally, all apartments are equipped with spacious terraces, and the public and semi-private spaces are interconnected throughout the complex. Residents and visitors can stroll through green spaces, plazas, and boulevards, or enjoy oversized sculptures positioned in key points throughout the neighborhood.

“Therefore, we can say that our long-term objective is to have all the projects, Level 3, Level 4, and Infinity Nord, fully constructed and operational by the end of 2030. In doing so, we are talking about a complete restructuring of the area, a process in which we expect other developers and local authorities to be involved to ensure the necessary infrastructure for this new residential hub in Bucharest.” Concluded the Redport Capital spokesperson.
