Lindabaa‚¬a„¢s profiles division reports 10 percent higher Q2 sales year on year

The profiles components division of Lindab group has reported a 10 percent increase in sales for April-June of this year compared to the same period of last year, with a value of EUR 59.4 million.

The results follow an increase in demand on the residential segment. Overall, the Lindab group has reported 6 percent sales lower y-o-y for the second semester of 2010, with a total value of EUR 167.8 million. The operational profit grew in the same period by 13 percent to EUR 10.7 million.

The residential construction segment is expected to impact positively the profiles components division, while the building systems division registered a weaker season but is on a recovery trend with growing orders.
