IMMOFINANZ announces the successful completion of the refurbishment of the VIVO! Baia Mare

VIVO! Baia Mare marks the reopening of more than 10,000 square meters of the centre’s total rentable area, with the inauguration of more than 10 stores with new shopping concepts and the opening of a LIDL store. The total investment is worth around EUR 7 million.

Baia Mare as the leading shopping and entertainment destination in Maramures and is part of IMMOFINANZ’s strategy to keep pace with the ever-changing desires of its customers and to modernize the entire local shopping centre portfolio,” said Fulga Dinu, Country Manager Operations IMMOFINANZ Romania.

Starting with November 18, 2021, the ground floor of the VIVO! Baia Mare shopping mall – accessible also from the underground car parking – will reopen as a state-of-the-art shopping and leisure space. VIVO! Baia Mare visitors are invited to discover the new LIDL store, which offers customers a wide variety of products at the best value for money every day, and to enjoy shopping breaks at the new cafés inside.

Created based on the ever-changing desires and needs of consumers, the new tenant mix covers the main shopping categories: consumer goods – LIDL, La Casa (local manufacturer); fashion – Various Brands, Colin’s, DeFacto, Kik; sports – Hervis Sports, Sport Vision; jewellery – TEILOR, Sabrini; interior decoration – English Home; pharmaceuticals – Nordpharm, as well as organic and natural products – Dr Green. At the same time, new store concepts are opening in the modernized area. Flanco, Animax, dm, OPTIblu and Sizeer are launching their stores in newly configured spaces with an innovative design.

VIVO! Baia Mare celebrates the completion of the renovation process with the NEW FOR YOU campaign, a creative concept that represents the values of the shopping centre: respect for tradition, family, and modernity. Thus, on 18 November, the shopping centre invites visitors with a green certificate to spend a memorable day in a festive atmosphere with good music, balloons, sensational photos, and many other surprises.

At VIVO! the safety of visitors and employees in the shopping centre is the top priority. Cleaning staff are constantly mobilised to sanitise and disinfect contact surfaces, all of which are monitored on an hourly basis. Dispensers with hand sanitizer solution have also been installed in the toilet and restaurant areas and the restaurant area has been reorganised to ensure optimal spacing between tables.
