Park Lane Developments, AG Capital’s commercial development company, becomes the second entity in the group to establish a presence in Romania, following Lion’s Head Investments. Currently operating in Bulgaria and Poland, Park Lane Developments has now officially appointed Valentin Rosu as Construction Director for Romania.

Both companies will work together in partnership to implement AG Capital’s strategy for the development and asset management of logistics projects in Romania.

“This is a key step towards implementing the development plans of the Group in the logistics sector. We are confident that, along with Valentin’s accomplished involvement, we will be able to create new engaging logistics premises at the local and regional levels,” says Alina Necula, Country Manager Romania of Lion’s Head Investments.

Park Lane Developments’ portfolio features a series of commercial and mixed-use buildings, including the Class A Park Lane Office Center, named Bulgaria’s Building of the Year 2021. The completed project was sold to SAP, thus becoming the largest investment deal on the Bulgarian office market for the 2019-2021 period. Another company flagship project is the redevelopment of Sofia’s historic landmark Polygraphia Office Center, currently part of Lion’s Head Investments’ assets in CEE.

Valentin Rosu has over 15 years of experience in the construction field, spanning both the retail and logistics markets. With the expansion of the team, the company intends to broaden its activities in Romania, including new projects in the industrial and logistics sector. Park Lane Developments’ entry into the Romanian market follows the company’s active interest in diversifying its operations into new asset classes and its long-term strategy for expansion in the Central and Eastern European (CEE) region.

Prior to joining Park Lane Developments, Valentin Rosu was part of CTP, where he acted as Construction Director and Board Member for Romania. Over the last 5 years, Valentin Rosu has overseen the development of over 1 million sqm of industrial parks in different major cities around Romania, such as Bucharest, Oradea, Timisoara, and Sibiu and led a team of 25 people.

Valentin also worked 9 years at Kaufland, being involved in the construction and development of the company’s retail network. He is a strong program, negotiations, and project management professional with a Bachelor’s degree in Economical Engineering.

“The professional experience I came across while working with Valentin Roșu gives me the certainty that he will ensure the successful delivery of the new logistics projects that we have under development”, says Vladimir Gurdjieff, Director Logistics & Industrial properties at Lion’s Head Investment.

In his new role, Valentin Rosu will oversee Park Lane’s construction projects in the logistics sector in Romania. As an experienced Project Manager, he will coordinate the company’s construction projects and furthermore, provide input and oversight on development opportunities in Poland and Bulgaria.

“I am looking forward to bringing my many years of experience in the field of industrial and logistics markets and being part of the great Park Lane Developments and Lion’s Head team. I am happy to further contribute to the group‘s continued growth in Romania and the region”, says Valentin Rosu, Construction Director Park Lane Developments, Romania.
