Lion’s Head, real estate investment fund currently owning assets in Bulgaria and Romania, hosted in Oregon Park, its flagship project in Romania, the only Christmas market on the local office sector. The event was dedicated to the 5,000+ people who work on the premises, recreating for a week-long the authentic atmosphere of a Christmas market.

The fair was held December 13th-19th, excluding weekends, during 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM in the outdoor courtyard of Building B in Oregon Park. Spread over an area of 550 square meters, the event hosted four houses decorated on Christmas spirit, with their own tea, hot chocolate, coffee or mulled wine stations, sweets and apple and cheese pies. In addition, the participants could take part, on the first day of the event, to an ad-hoc carol concert performed by a professional choir. The outdoor area in Oregon Park was complemented by decorated Christmas trees, oversized gift boxes and string lights. The event was organized in partnership with Big Events, a company with over 15-year experience in the event organization industry, from concerts, product launches, company parties or fairs and exhibitions.

“We’re excited to be able to bring the Christmas spirit early to the Oregon Park professional community. In a labour and workspace market that has fundamentally changed post-pandemic, it is important to us, as office building providers, to understand the new paradigm and make available to our tenants not just an office, but those facilities that they cannot benefit from within the work-from-home system: creating a community, events and initiatives dedicated to this group of professionals, networking and collaboration opportunities between companies”, says Alina Necula, Country Manager Romania Lion’s Head.

“Space as a service”, the new paradigm on the office market

Lion’s Head thus continues, through this initiative, the “space as a service” strategy – the new mantra for the office sector that transforms the workspace from a product to a service, with office buildings no longer considered just modular compartments, but destinations in themselves, offering a wide range of amenities and experiences that go beyond the traditional desk and chair, but rather a balanced combination of personalized services and community building.

Oregon Park is currently Lion’s Head main active in Romania, three premium 7-story class A office buildings, providing approximately 70,000 square meters of office space, additional 3,000 square meters dedicated to the retail area and another 12,000 square meters of landscaped green areas. Located in Bucharest’s most important business pole (Floreasca – Barbu Văcărescu area), Oregon Park has made a genuine commitment to sustainability through the use of Zero Carbon technologies, energy-efficient building systems and recyclable materials, which allowed the complex to obtain BREEAM Excellent certification.

The business ecosystem in Oregon Park is comprised from companies dealing with a wide variety of industries, such as IT, financial services, constructions, retail, real estate, medical systems and consumer electronics products, agri-business etc. Oregon Park hosts a well-balanced mix of tenants, comprised of both local companies and top international companies, including Deloitte, Oracle, BNP Paribas, Cetelem or Europa FM.
