Competition Council authorized the transaction between Regina Maria and IDS Laboratories

The Competition Council (CC) authorized the transaction through which Regina Maria, through, Elite Medical took over the activity medical services of IDS Laboratories, Medical Expert Clinic and IDS Laboratory.

Elite Medical is active in the provision of medical services offering a wide range of clinical and paraclinical services, both ambulatory and hospital. IDS Laboratories, Medical Expert Clinic and IDS Laboratory are mainly present in the sector laboratory medical services in Romania.

Previously, Regina Maria took over the Puls Medical Center in Târgu Mures from the family Simona and Cristian Mucenic and recently took over the Phoenix Imaging Center, a medical diagnostic center launched in Bucharest seven years ago and controlled so far by five doctors.

In 2017, IDS Laboratories, with 90 employees, had a turnover of RON 13.7 million and a net profit of about RON 430,000.
