Carrefour opens 2 new hypermarkets next year, in Botosani and Bucharest

Carrefour plans to open 2 new hypermarkets next year, in Botosani and Bucharest. Also, the retailer will open 3 new Carrefour Market units by the end of this year.

Thus, the retailer will open a new hypermarket in Botosani in the second half of next year. The new unit will be hosted by the Botosani shopping center, being opened in partnership with Hendrik Danneels and Piet Van Waes, which will have a surface of 7,000 square meters.

Also next year the retailer will also finalize the eighth hypermarket in Bucharest, the Colosseum, in Bucurestii Noi area, which will span on a surface of 8,500 square meters.

Apart from these two new hypermarkets, Carrefour will also open 3 new Carrefour Market units by the end of this year. These will be opened in Targoviste on December 15, in Cluj on December 17 and on December 21 in Bucharest, Berceni district.
