ARIR (The Romanian Investor Relations Association) is launching the first collection of NFTs (Non-Fungible Tokens) in Romania’s capital market, in collaboration with listed companies, marking its 5th anniversary. During these five years, ARIR has championed excellence in Investor Relations. ARIR’s NFT Anniversary project represents the opening of the community of the largest listed companies on the Bucharest Stock Exchange to innovation through blockchain technology.

This project is carried out in partnership with WebitLabs, a company active in the blockchain domain. The NFT Collection will be showcased at the GALA by ARIR, which is scheduled for November 23rd at the Palace of the Parliament and is organized in collaboration with the Ministry of Economy, Entrepreneurship, and Tourism.

“We are celebrating 5 years since the founding of ARIR, a milestone we are marking uniquely by launching our first collection of NFTs in collaboration with companies listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange. The community has embraced this innovative anniversary project, and we have collaborated to create nine digital assets with Romanian artists from around the world under the coordination of Webit Labs, an experienced company in this field. We thought about investors when creating this project and have established additional means of interaction with listed companies,” said Daniela Șerban, ARIR President and Co-founder.

Investors can own an NFT of their favorite company by participating in a raffle until November 20 through www.ir-romania.ro/NFT. They will receive the NFTs during the GALA by ARIR.

“The use of new technologies is key to the accelerated and secure growth of companies. We were pleased by the openness of Romania’s largest listed companies to take steps toward creating new synergies with the next stage of the internet, Web3, a decentralized and public protocol based on blockchain. We are at the forefront of this adoption, and we congratulate ARIR for the initiative of this innovative project and for celebrating 5 years of excellence in investor relations,” said Cristian Ionut Avram, CEO WebitLabs.

The first ARIR NFT is a Time Capsule, created by Ovidiu – Valeriu Bojor, a multidisciplinary artist based in Barcelona. It is a symbolic project that gathers the thoughts and contributions of ARIR members regarding the community’s activities and future. The NFT represents a series of messages recorded on the blockchain, which will serve as a reference for the organization’s future activities and will be revealed in 2028, on the occasion of ARIR’s 10th anniversary.

The next ARIR NFTs are Digital Art and illustrate the role of 8 member companies in the economy and capital market:

  • Bucharest Stock Exchange – NFT created by Upcrafty
  • AQUILA – NFT created by Șerban Dumitru, Penfire Studio
  • Antibiotice – NFT created by Jump
  • BRK Financial Group – NFT created by Andrei Olariu
  • Electromagnetica – NFT created by Emilia Dumitrescu / Kali Story_
  • Farmaceutica Remedia – NFT created by Nicu P
  • IMPACT Developer & Contractor – NFT created by Dots N’ Bits
  • Rompetrol – NFT created by Adrian Alexandru Gheorghe / archaag.

Each NFT will illustrate the values and characteristics of the respective company in the ARIR community, transposed into the digital environment. NFTs are the latest trend in the world of cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology, ensuring authenticity and ownership rights over artworks and digital assets.

GALA by ARIR will take place on November 23, 2023, at the Palace of the Parliament, and will award the best-listed companies and their representatives for the 5th consecutive year, in 8 categories: Best CEO; Best CFO; Best IRO; Best IR Company; Best IR Company – Individual Investor Vote; Best Sustainability Report; “Best Board Design”; The special award is offered by the Bucharest Stock Exchange.
