Metropolitan Life announces a 16% increase in gross premiums

Metropolitan Life announces a 16% increase in gross premiums subscribed in the first nine months of 2022, compared to 2021.

In the first nine months of 2022, Metropolitan Life recorded gross premiums underwritten in the amount of 451,907,428 lei, compared to the same period in 2021, when the value of the gross premiums underwritten amounted to 389,470,409 lei.

In Romania, over 3 million customers benefit from life insurance and mandatory private pensions offered by Metropolitan Life and Metropolitan Life Pensii and we continue, every day, the commitment to offer relevant and useful products and services for Romanians, that safety net they can call in the case of an unexpected event”, declares Carmina Dragomir, CEO of Metropolitan Life.

Regarding the allowances paid, in the first nine months of 2022 they had a value of 132,187,862 lei, 16% more compared to the same period in 2021, when they amounted 113,580,248 lei.
