Metropolitan Life has received multiple Seramount recognitions for organizational culture and team inclusion practices

MetLife, Inc. (NYSE: MET), along with its subsidiaries and affiliates (“MetLife”), including Metropolitan Life Romania, announced today the acquisition of multiple certifications from Seramount for its employment practices, team development programs, organizational culture, and commitment to promoting an inclusive work environment.

Seramount is a strategic professional services and research firm dedicated to supporting inclusive and high-performing workplaces. A series of DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) programs, accountability, and management practices of MetLife were evaluated by Seramount to determine their inclusion in indices and rankings. Among these were new initiatives like MOMENTUM, which expands MetLife’s inclusion networks and focuses on the most important topics for employees, and EXCELERATE, MetLife CEO’s talent sponsorship program to encourage diversity among the collective of future leaders.

• Global Inclusion Index: MetLife was included in this year’s index for several countries where it operates, including Australia, Brazil, Chile, China, Colombia, France, India, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Portugal, Romania, Spain, the USA, the United Arab Emirates, and the United Kingdom. Placement in each global inclusion index was determined by the company’s efforts and commitment to demographic criteria, best practices in recruitment, retention, and advancement, as well as organizational culture.

• Inclusion Index: For the 4th consecutive year, MetLife was named a Leading Company. To achieve a place in the Inclusion Index, MetLife was recognized for its efforts and commitment to the best practices in recruitment, retention and advancement, company culture, and demographics/transparency.

• Top Companies for Executive Women: For the 16th year, MetLife was honored on this list, earning a place in the Hall of Fame for its previous 15 appearances. MetLife was evaluated on every aspect of women’s progress, including succession planning, financial management roles and the company’s financial performance, pay parity between women and men, support programs, and flexibility programs.

• Best Companies for Multicultural Women: For the 6th year, MetLife was recognized for its efforts to promote an inclusive workplace. Seramount evaluated MetLife’s workforce profile, recruitment, retention and advancement, as well as the company’s culture and accountability in the selection process.
