Increased interest for the Mobexpert – Alpha Bank co-branded card

6 months after the launch of the Mobexpert Credit Card, holders made purchases of over RON 10 million in the stores of the largest furniture manufacturer and retailer in Romania and appreciated the fast approval flow and the advantages of a premium card, confirming the increased interest in this product.

Over 50% of Mobexpert – Alpha Bank co-branded cards issued under the Mastercard logo were approved instantly in Mobexpert stores.

Almost 75% of Mobexpert customers preferred to use Mobexpert Credit Card to buy products from the General Furniture category – sofas, bedrooms, mattresses, living and dining room furniture – within the first transaction. 14% chose to use the card for Decorations, and 8% paid for kitchen furniture with their card. More than 2000 products were purchased from Mobexpert stores with the Mobexpert Credit Card within the first transaction, at the moment when the client applied for the card, most customers preferring to also purchase the transport and assembly services, using the card’s benefit of 50% discount.

In addition to Mobexpert product purchases, the co-branded cards were also used in electronics and home appliances, clothing and footwear or do-it-yourself (DIY) stores and for everyday shopping at the supermarket.
