Dimitrie Bolintineanu House – one of the most enchanting Christmas places in Bucharest

Before the winter holidays, Dimitrie Bolintineanu House (the villa), located at 16 Negustori Street, transforms into a fairy-tale setting. The decor creatively blends the classic with innovation, highlighting the location’s strong historical significance, valued at 6 million euros in 2023 due to renovation work carried out over a period of 2 years.

The centerpiece of the Christmas decor is the tree – an impressive 8-meter-high art installation. The metal structure covered with Noble Fir branches is illuminated by over 5000 Twinkly LEDs distributed over a installation spanning more than 320 meters. This is the villa’s gift to the people of Bucharest who love Christmas.

“The giant tree symbolizes the generosity and joy of the winter holidays. Through it, we want to pay homage to Christmas traditions, blending them with modern technology. We positioned the centerpiece in the garden, facing the street, precisely to provide people with a magical space. I believe that decorating the space is mandatory for Christmas, one of the most beautiful holidays of the year. In addition to that, I feel indebted to the companies that have chosen to host their year-end party in our space, and I want every person who crosses our threshold in December to have that moment of amazement and admiration. I love to see a house that tells a story and gives something to the community. We chose to place the tree outside so that every passerby can enjoy this giant installation,” said Vlad Mihalachioiu, the villa.

All the arrangement was done in partnership with Florist Club Romania and City Flowers, and the Twinkly smart installations area: Smart Decorations.
