”Dimitrie Bolintineanu House” reopened with a world record: The largest cocktail paradise

”Dimitrie Bolitineanu House”, the newest location in the villa portfolio and one of Bucharest’s architectural gems reopened its doors on Tuesday night with a themed party that established a new world record for the largest cocktail paradise, previously held by famous American rapper Snoop Dogg.

290 liters of Wembley Gin, 100 liters of Bran Apricot liqueur, and 180 liters of Granini orange juice were brought to the Negustori 16 location over the course of the day to create the world’s largest cocktail paradise. The moment was special not only in terms of the record but also because each participant was invited to get actively involved by adding the necessary ingredients to a huge container. After creating this giant cocktail, each participant had the opportunity to sign on a huge signboard so that their name would be immortalized in a truly remarkable achievement.

The opening event of the new location the villa. Event House was themed “Be Barbie for an Evening”, attendees were encouraged to wear outfits in shades of pink to recreate the playful and glam atmosphere of the famous film.

Several areas were set up in the “Dimitrie Bolintineanu House”, such as the cocktail area, the party area, where a famous DJ mixed the whole evening, or the “Barbie wall”, where guests had the opportunity to have their photo taken in a life-size Barbie doll box.

“Dimitrie Bolintineanu House”: architecture and history embracing the present

With a history of over 100 years, “Casa Dimitrie Bolintineanu” was named after the famous writer and politician, author of one of the first novels written in Romanian, Manoil. Bolintineanu lived the last year of his life in this elegant villa located in a historic part of Bucharest.

After becoming part of the villa’s portfolio, the house was completely renovated with the help of renowned architects, with the aim of harmoniously blending the rich history of the place with the 21st century events it will now host.

The house has a total surface area of 762 square meters, distributed over 3 levels. The main location on the ground floor is 250 square meters, equipped with state-of-the-art audio-video system, parking, interior courtyard, bar and catering area or fire alarm system. The attic is 175 square meters and can accommodate up to 100 participants at the same time.

The “Dimitrie Bolintineanu House” is available for private events and can be rented in two versions, the whole house or just the main location.
