School Meals Day, the campaign organized by the Carmistin Foundation in the counties of Vâlcea and Gorj

The Carmistin Foundation organized the second edition of the School Meals Day campaign. This year’s action was again dedicated to children from rural areas, specifically students from the villages of Boroșteni, Brădiceni, and Peștișani (Gorj), and Frâncești (Vâlcea).

Celebrated annually by the Carmistin Foundation alongside students, School Meals Day consists of distributing packages with hot meals prepared from the product portfolio of La Provincia, a brand of the Carmistin Group. In addition to food, the 370 students from schools included in the 2024 edition of the project also received backpacks from the Carmistin Foundation.

School Meals Day is an initiative through which we aim to be as present as possible in the lives of local communities where the Carmistin Group owns farms and food production and processing units, by especially involving ourselves in education and family projects. “We thank the children who welcomed us into their schools and who rewarded our gesture with their smiles,” said Andra Paraschiv, president of the Carmistin Foundation.
