Adrian Botan appointed Global Executive Creative Director for Nestle

Adrian Botan (in picture), currently creative partner in McCann Bucharest and VP Creative Excellence for McCann Central Eastern Europe, was appointed global executive creative director for Nestle but will continue to be involved in the McCann Bucharest activity as Creative Chairman. 

Botan has been part of the McCann Bucharest team for the past 15 years and was the first creation director to bring two Cannes Lions Grand Prix in Central and Eastern Europe.

In 2011, the campaign he developed for chocolate ROM Autentic brand brought Romania and McCann Bucharest a total of nine Cannes Lions, which was followed by other eight Cannes Lions, six Grand Prix at the Golden Drum, three Grand Prix at the Effie festival and three Grand Prix at the Eurobest festival.

“Adrian is one of the most intelligent and innovative creatives in the McCann network and the campaigns he has penned prove his talent to develop creative campaigns for large clients. This is also the reason for which we are bringing him to the global creation team. I cannot wait to see what his next success will be. This is the biggest compliment that I can make to a creative colleague,” said Rob Reilly, Global Creative Chairman, McCann Worldgroup.
