Auchan receives the Customers’ Friend award for best practices in customer relations

After an extensive research and verification process, ICERTIAS (International Certification Association) awarded Auchan Retail Romania the international distinction Customers’ Friend and the Customers’ Friend – Superior Excellence status, thus confirming the implementation and compliance of best practices in customer relations.

In order to obtain these certifications, the company was evaluated in a market research based on four major criteria: reputation, communication, customer experience and trust. Thus, Auchan obtained high scores in all the analyzed sections. Regarding the brand reputation, the relationship with customers, employees, business partners, but also innovation, financial stability, quality of products and services on the market, competitiveness and social responsibility were analyzed. Along with these, the company’s communication services were also analyzed, both the media relations and the classic and digital communication, as well as the customer experience in terms of intuitiveness, simplicity, durability and availability. Last but not least, the ICERTIAS analysis also involved verifying customers’ trust in Auchan, by assessing the competence, reliability, integrity and transparency of Auchan Retail Romania.

This certification is a great honor for us, as well as a great responsibility, since it represents our customers votes. The Customers’ Friend certificate is an international recognition given to companies and organizations that have a proven superior relationship with their customers. Customers’ Friend – Superior Excellence status was earned through in-depth Icertias research, which resulted in Auchan scoring over 4.5 out of 5.

Auchan is the food specialist that has continuously adapted its offer to consumer behavior, by developing Auchan supply chains, local product ranges, private label products and products made in its own laboratories. The company has also implemented a multitude of delivery methods for online orders on auchan.ro or from the Auchan application, adapting to the current context (Drive, Click & Collect, nationwide home deliveries through Romanian Post, Takeaway.com, Glovo, foodpanda etc.). In 2020, Auchan has been actively involved in society, by setting up two medical support units for patients with non-critical forms of Covid-19 and is currently continuously implementing social responsibility projects. Auchan also holds the Safe Guard certification which confirms the correct compliance and implementation of best safety practices against the spread of COVID-19.
