Summer Well 2023 – the festival where emotion and energy transformed a community

For 3 days, over 30 artists created a memorable atmosphere on the 24 hectares of the Stirbey Domain. Music, art, and people who felt the unique energy of Summer Well. As a result, more than 90 thousand participants over the three days turned the 12th edition of the festival into its most successful in history.

The festival was filled with remarkable moments. The Florence + The Machine concert completely enchanted the audience with astonishing vocal power and stage presence, with everyone present witnessing a true performance. Also, the highly anticipated Saint Levant impressed with the fusion of oriental rhythms and specific rap flow, delivering a memorable show with his band. Additionally, we were amazed at how this edition ended in a majestic manner with Yungblud, who provided an unmatched dose of energy.

There are far too many artists or bands who impressed us superbly and who came to Romania for the first time – 070 Shake, Ocean Wisdom, Lime Cordiale, The Aces, Thus Love, Biig Piig, and Yellow Days, just a few examples that come to mind. Of course, after such live performances that offered us an unmistakable feeling of relaxation and pure happiness, the afterparty stage was simply perfect. Thus, Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs, Acid Arab, and Kid Francescoli made sure to maintain a high level of well-being through electronic music that was blended with each one’s personality.

It’s important to acknowledge as well that behind any successful project, there are always “the unseen heroes”: hundreds of professionals, volunteers, and staff members who worked day and night to support and ensure the smooth running of the most beloved summer festival. An event that wouldn’t have been the same without their involvement.

Alongside Kärcher, Summer Well sought to continue its commitment. The brand took care of providing professional cleaning equipment and apparatus while also offering guidance on how the Stirbey Domain should be taken care of. Thus, Kärcher ensured that access areas, furniture objects, and the food area remained clean at all times.

Furthermore, as proof of the commitment to contribute to a sustainable future, #PentruMâine (For Tomorrow), Orange invited participants to bring old, non-functional devices to Summer Well for recycling. Over 550 phones, tablets, headsets, and chargers were collected. The components from these devices will get a second chance by being reintegrated into the circular economy.

“Probably our only wish is for the success of this edition to be recognized as the success of all those present: the music and cultural industry includes not only artists but also the lives and passions of each one of us, the desire to be together, to enjoy the moments and experiences shared with loved ones.” Claudia Cramaroc, Marketing Communications Manager, stated.

Behind the scenes, a series of sponsors and media partners are needed to help materialize the specific Summer Well atmosphere, including: Orange, ING, Beck’s, Bacardi, glo, Red Bull, Jägermeister, Martini, Bombay Sapphire, Juicy Water, YOXO, Mega Image, Pepsi, tazz, Fashion Days, Converse, MedLife, Ford, Samsung, Pringles, Alpro, Kärcher, Avon, Transalpina, TUC, Electrica Furnizare, Vitamin Aqua, La Roche-Posay, Biciclop, Mobila Dalin, Radio Guerilla, Elle, unica.ro, Viva!, A List Magazine, Zile și Nopți, hotnews.ro, Garbo, Kudika, news.ro, Business Review, Wall-Street, Cotidianul.ro, Warner Bros. Discovery.

If you’re among those who were enchanted by the Summer Well atmosphere, enjoying every moment to the fullest, we thank you. Next year, the festival will take place between August 9-11 at the Stirbey Domain, with Super Early Bird tickets already on sale.
