New artists and access rules announced for Summer Well: The Limited Edition

Summer Well is happening again this year. The concept of this year’s festival is The Limited Edition but the approach of the festival will be to offer an Unlimited experience. The 2021 edition brings an extra festival day, one extra reason for participants to enjoy live concerts with foreign and Romanian artists, art projects, carefully curated food & drink areas, relaxation areas.

The festival will kick off on Thursday 12 August 2021 with an exclusive event: the launch show of the new Golan album. The 13th and 14th of August will bring important international names such as Woodkid, Balthazar, Modeselektor (live), L’Imperatrice, Lola Marsh, Fatoumata Diawara, to the Summer Well stages, along with a number of local artists: The Kryptonite Sparks, Dimitri’s Bats and Hip Hop La Feminin. This year’s already established Night Picnic will take place on Sunday, August 15, when the Bucharest Symphony Orchestra will be on stage.

And because this year’s experiences will be Unlimited, the organizers announced today new names in the existing line-up: Rejjie Snow, Princess Nokia, Gus Gus HVOB live (clubset), Hercules and Love Affair (DJ set), Moonlight Breakfast, Valeria Stoica, Zimbru, A-C Leonte, Bruja, Andreea Veder (DJ set), Disco Sigaretta, IAN and Show’Nuff.

The artistic experiences will be complemented by the return of the Museum of the Moon, which joins the festival with a new area, never before open to the public, and two new Tina Fung installations.

Access and security details

For easier access to the festival, festival passes can be changed into access wristbands in any Orange Shop, from Tuesday to Friday (10.08.2021 – 13.08.2021), between 12:00 – 19:30.

At this time, access to the festival is subject to wearing a protective mask.

Access to the festival requires one of the following documents:

• EU Green certificate – persons vaccinated against SARS-COV-2 and for whom 10 days have passed since the completion of the full vaccination scheme or who are between the 15th and 180th day after confirmation with SARS-COV-2.
• Negative PCR test not older than 72 hours
• Negative antigen test not older than 24 hours

These documents must be presented each day at the entrance to the festival site, accompanied by ID, and can be presented in digital format.

The price of a pass is 275 lei + tax and can be purchased at www.summerwell.ro. There is also the option of a one-day ticket for 75 lei + tax. All tickets already purchased remain valid for this year’s edition.
