Deloitte Romania names new manager

Professional services firm Deloitte Romania has appointed Melania Hancila as manager of the strategy and operations team, in a move designed to boost the research and reporting areas of the firm.

Hancila has worked for more than ten years for large financial institutions in Romania. She has previously worked at the Financial Supervision Authority (FSA). She was also head of the research and strategy department at Volksbank Romania.

“I’m glad that Melania has joined Deloitte, as she is a well-known and appreciated economist in Romania. I’m sure her insights would help more Deloitte customers to benefit of better analytics and forward looking strategies to increase the value of their business,” commented Oana Petrescu, partner-in-charge management consulting at Deloitte.
