The professional services firm KPMG said on Monday its revenues for operations in Romania and Moldova rose by 4 percent to EUR 36.5 million for the financial year ended September 30 2013.
The tax and legal services generated a quarter of the total turnover, while advisory and audit & assurance services, account for 29 percent, and 46 percent respectively.
Serban Toader, senior partner at KPMG in Romania, said: “We are defined by the impact we have on the economic results and reputation of our clients and we focus on that. Our financial results for FY12-13 confirm the success of our strategies and we will continue to build on that.”
Toader added the firm has been involved as auditor and/or accountants in a number of listings and bond offerings in Romania and abroad, including those of UniCredit Tiriac Bank and RCS-RDS.
KPMG has six offices in Romania and Moldova, employing 700 partners and staff.
