The Bucharest City Tour bus line, which takes tourists to sightseeing tours of the capital city, is taking a break beginning November because of the unfavorable weather conditions in the cold season, the operator of the line has announced. The operator of the line estimates that over 39,000 tourists took the double-decker tours of Bucharest. Out of them 35,600 were adults and 3,668 were children aged 7 to 14.

The four double-decker buses were introduced last year and serve a 15-kilometer tourist route. Each bus has a 77-seat capacity. Bucharest City Tour has designated 14 bus stops where the most important landmarks are present: the Peasant Museum, Victoria Palace, the Parliament Palace, the Bucharest Museum and Romanian Patriarchy. All the stops of the tour are available here.

The Bucharest City Tour line is available between 10:00 – 22:00 and a double-decker will stop in the stations every 15 minutes, allowing tourists to see Bucharest in 50 minutes. The travel card is RON 25 for adults and RON 10 for children between the ages of 7 and 14. Children under 7 who are accompanied by an adult will get a free ride. The travel card is available for 24 hours from its first validation and can be bought from the double-decker buses.
