Hammond Bogaru & Associates have set up an aviation practice team to deal with the firm’s growing aviation workload. Nicholas Hammond, joint managing partner of the firm with partner Alexandru Badet will be responsible with leading the newly formed practice and will be coordinating a team of three lawyers.  Their services will range from aviation regulation, aviation commercial agreements and asset management to resolving disputes and assisting in corporate and intellectual property matters. The firm already acts for a number of clients across the aviation industry and its latest case dealt with the formation of a new Romanian airline.

Nicholas Hammond said: “Setting up an aviation practice team came as a natural step for us, as we have been involved in several large matters across the aviation sector and the lawyers involved developed a genuine passion and enthusiasm for the industry, not to mention hands-on experience and deep knowledge. I am particularly happy to be leading the aviation team as I am a former pilot myself and am very familiar with the ins and outs of the industry.”

Hammond Bogaru and Associates is a business law firm based in Bucharest, Romania. It was formed when law offices of Nicholas Hammond, an English solicitor and Cristian Bogaru, A Romanian lawyer and Swiss adviser entered into partnership and recruited a group of associates.
