2B Intelligent Soft, a Romanian entrepreneurial company specialized in the development and implementation of software solutions and the provision of IT and Cloud infrastructure services, posts operating revenue of 35.4 million lei in 2022, a 26% increase compared to 2021.

Also, in terms of net profit, in 2022, the company recorded a 23% increase compared to 2022, almost in line with revenues, up to 5.6 million lei, an 11% increase compared to the net profit presented in the 2022 budget.

We are delighted with the 2022 results, especially as we exceeded the planned budget. It was an eventful year in which we focused on implementing the development strategy presented in the memorandum, capitalizing on intellectual property, and consolidating the business development teams. The share of recurring revenue in the total turnover, an important indicator with which we evaluate the stability of the company’s operations, has remained around 35%, which in the context of organizational projects and investments, represents an important achievement,” stated Radu Scarlat, Chairman of the Bento Board of Directors.

In 2022, the Software Development Division (DEV) contributed 47% to the operating revenue. Within DEV, the revenues related to the development and implementation of software projects contributed 65% to the turnover, and the revenues related to the maintenance and evolution services, which have a recurring character, contributed 35% to the turnover. The second line of business, IT, Infrastructure and Cloud (IT), consisting of both services, such as implementation, integration, and support, as well as equipment and software resale, contributed 53% to the operating revenue generated in 2022.

We are thrilled and proud of the team’s achievements, 2022 being one of the most dynamic years in our history, and we would like to thank our colleagues for their support and efforts in achieving outstanding results. Looking forward, we are entering an interesting period for the evolution of our company, 2023 being the year in which the first effects of the development efforts started last year will be seen and the year in which we start a new set of projects at the level of organization and communication. At the same time, an important objective of the management team is the establishment of new strategic partnerships aimed at manifesting a lead-generating ecosystem for our organization“, stated Vlad Bodea, Executive Member of the Board of Directors, co-founder of Bento.

Among the reference projects of 2022, the company mentions the signing of an important partnership with Clarke Energy Romania regarding the implementation of Bento FSM, through which the company’s field operational processes are automated, the completion of the implementation of Bento Granar within Comvex, simplifying and automating all reception, storage operations and management of grain stocks, as well as the implementation of Bento MDM within Grup Feroviar Român (GFR).

At the same time, in the last quarter of 2022, the company signed a significant contract with Adrem Engineering within a project whose final beneficiary is the Energy Metering Operator on Wholesale Market, an organizational entity that is part of Transelectrica. Under the project, Bento will deliver a complex IT solution composed of hardware plus software and perform associated services.

However, the most impactful event in 2022 is the signing of the contract related to the financing project won under the Competitiveness Operational Program (POC 2014-2020). Under the “Platform for Modular Digital Transformation in the Enterprise Environment and the Public Sector” name, the project has a value of approximately 25 million lei, of which about 15 million are non-refundable funds. At the end of this project, Bento will have in its portfolio – in addition to the software applications already existing, its intellectual property, superiorly developed and present in the market – and a shared software platform that will include additional integrated modules, which will be promoted as a family of products. The beginning of this project is thus complementary to the development plans already established and presented in the listing memorandum by the company, with the final result improving the expected yield.

Bento is listed on the AeRO market of the Bucharest Stock Exchange as of March 16, 2022, being one of the few technology companies in Romania that develop its software products. Currently, the capitalization of the company is approximately 55 million lei. The products and solutions provided by Bento are used by local and international companies operating in diverse industries such as utilities (energy, water, oil, and gas), agriculture, industrial engineering, media, FMCG, insurance, and food manufacturing.
