Bento – Intellectually Curious (BVB: BENTO), a Romanian entrepreneurial company specialized in developing and implementing software solutions and providingIT and Cloud infrastructure services, announces the signing of a contract with Volta X Solar Systems (Volta X), a local company that provides turnkey solutions for photovoltaic systems, energy efficiency, energy storage systems and charging stations for electric cars. For Volta X, Bento will implement its own software product, Bento Field Service Management (Bento FSM).

Signing the partnership with Volta X represents the entry into a new industry for Bento, which we call the “Service Cluster.” This constitutes a complex niche, including sectors as diverse as HVAC service and maintenance, security, photovoltaic systems, and medical equipment. In the context of this cluster, we have already built a solid pipeline for which we are considering implementing a quasi-standardized solution that will allow the companies to streamline and automate the operations of their field teams. The partnership with Volta X represents an encouraging milestone in this direction, and we are excited to explore together the opportunities this collaboration offers,” stated Vlad Bodea, Co-Founder and Member of the Bento Board of Directors.

The implementation of Bento FSM within Volta X will lead to the streamlining of the company’s activity by managing the installation flow of photovoltaic systems and optimizing the coordination of field technicians and all assets belonging to Volta X. In addition, through Bento FSM, the company will monitor centralized locations and customers, reduce costs, and implicitly increase customer satisfaction.

The vision behind Volta X is to reduce the carbon footprint by adopting solar energy as an integrated solution for a greener future. Our company operates as a one-stop-shop for 100% solar energy, based on a complete set of solutions to cover the process of energy regeneration and efficiency: photovoltaic panels, charging stations for electric cars, energy storage systems, and energy efficiency solutions. In our field, the difference lies in the quality of the in-house team, which ranges from consultants and engineers specializing in bidding and design to certified plumbers, electricians, and fitters. Therefore, a good optimization of the flow of services and monitoring the implemented solutions are essential to achieve the targeted objectives,” stated Marius Antonesi, Managing Partner of Volta X Solar Systems.

Throughout its more than 19 years of existence, Bento has constantly invested in improving the services and solutions it provides to local and international clients and expanding its IT&C expertise. Currently, Bento is one of the few technology companies in Romania developing its own software products. Bento’s products and solutions are used by local and international companies operating in diverse fields such as utilities (energy, water, oil, and gas), agriculture, industrial engineering, media, FMCG, insurance, and food manufacturing.

Among their own developed products, the most known are Bento FSM and Bento MDM. Bento FSM is a suite of applications dedicated to companies that deliver services through distributed teams in the field, digitizing, automating, and optimizing all related activities. On the other hand, Bento MDM is a system dedicated to companies that manage a substantial fleet of mobile devices, such as tablets, smartphones, POS, etc. The solution enables centralized management of these devices, enforcement of security policies, tracking devices via GPS, remote management of applications and settings, and locking devices for use only for their intended purpose.

In the first nine months of 2023, Bento recorded operating revenue of 39 million lei, a 103% increase compared to last year’s period, and a net profit of 12.1 million lei, a 246% appreciation compared with the first nine months of 2022. The company is listed on the AeRO market of the Bucharest Stock Exchange as of March 16, 2022, under the symbol BENTO and has a market capitalization of approximately 158 million lei.
