Globalworth and Global Vision announce new tenants for the first phase of the Constanța Business Park project. Mobexpert is among the new members of the Globalworth Industrial community, Globalworth’s logistics and light industrial sub-brand. The leading company on the Romanian furniture market leased an area of approx. 2,000 sqm. Continuing the global eCommerce growth trend, the space will include office and storage areas meant to serve Mobexpert’s clients in South-Eastern Romania.

Following the recent transactions, Constanța Business Park has reached a 70% occupancy rate just a few months after its delivery.

“We are pleased that Constanța Business Park meets the requirements of a wide range of companies of various sizes and operating in different industries. Tenants continue to be attracted by the project’s features and its outstanding location in the most urbanized county in Romania. Our Constanța Business Park is growing and we wish a warm welcome to Mobexpert and all our new members of the Globalworth Industrial family”, says Mihai Zaharia, Head of Investments Globalworth Romania and Group Capital Markets Director.

“Mobexpert is a Romanian company that has become internationally known through its respect for quality and responsible evolution. These values underpin our fruitful collaboration, that we will most likely expand in the future. We are pleased to see the increased interest from eCommerce, food retail, furniture production and logistics operations companies, which is why we will soon start the development of the second phase of the project – a new logistics unit. At the same time, we plan to start the development of a retail park, the positioning of the project in the immediate vicinity of the highway being an obvious benefit of connectivity and visibility for the future partners”, adds Sorin Preda, CEO & Founder Global Vision.

“For Mobexpert, the sales volume continues to increase in South-Eastern Romania, and the decision to rent a space in the newest and most modern business park in the region is in line with our development strategy. The pandemic period led to an increase demand in online, so we adapt to the new trends and we keep the promise of fast delivery made to our customs”, completed Dan Șucu, Mobexpert owner.

The first logistics unit within the mixed-use project Constanța Business Park has a total area of 21,300 sqm, while the whole project is being developed on a plot of some 100 hectares.

The business park offers tenants a number of unique advantages thanks to its strategic location. Constanța County benefits, above all, from the best infrastructure connectivity in Romania, with easy road and rail access, as well as access to maritime and river routes. In this respect, Constanța Business Park will become the best location for developing supply chain operations.

Constanța Business Park is located in the vicinity of Constanta port, the fourth-largest port in Europe by size, at the junction of several pan – European transport corridors Corridor IV (Western and Eastern Europe), Corridor VII (Danube) and Corridor IX (Northern and Southern Europe) and ensures easy access to A2 and A4 highways.

The development of Constanța Business Park is estimated to run until 2024 and will be executed in several stages, resulting in a rentable area of over 400k sqm on completion. In the first phase, which was delivered in July 2020, Globalworth Industrial developed a logistics warehouse with a rentable area of 21,300 sqm. Constanța Business Park relies on sustainable solutions and respects the environmental policies upheld by the company.

Globalworth and Global Vision also have a project in development, simultaneously with the one located in Constanța. This one is called Chitila Logistics Hub – where the first storage unit, with an area of 23,100 sqm, was delivered in September 2020.
