Catinvest announces the launch of EP Mall App, a mobile app based on Artificial Intelligence technology that offers Electroputere Mall customers a digital experience and benefits from retailers in the mall. Through the app, customers have access to all the information about the mall and retailers and a loyalty system that allows them to benefit from discounts at their preferred brands. The EP Mall app is available both in Google Play and App Store and already has over 10,000 active users. Customers who download the app by December 24th, check in at the mall and spend 50 lei can win an all inclusive trip for 4 people to Vienna, with a private jet.

The EP Mall app is a tool for customers to stay up to date with all the news, events and campaigns organized by the mall, to check-in and collect points during their visits at the mall or through purchases from retailers and to receive discounts or vouchers directly on their phone to use on their future purchases. At the same time, the mobile app provides retailers with personalized mechanisms to loyalize their customers with in-app dedicated benefits, specific discounts or limited offers.

“The app is very dynamic and versatile, allowing brands to create personalized content tailored to their customers’ needs, and is also responsive and very easy to use, creating a social experience for customers, inspired from social media trends. More exactly, when a customer wants to receive notifications from a particular brand, they have to follow that store in the app. In addition to joining the community of their preferred brands, customers in Oltenia can also access the mall-wide campaigns we are preparing, either through general events, or actions in partnership with certain stores, that will go through push notifications in the app”, explains Jibril Semour, General Manager of Catinvest Eastern Europe.

Developed by Timetree Tech, the app also includes a virtual coin system that gives Electroputere Mall’s customers in-app coins for certain purchases or events, which can be converted into discounts.

“At Electroputere Parc, we’re not only constantly expanding our footprint and bringing new brands to the main shopping destination in Oltenia, but we are also actively seeking to create experiences and benefits that generate more value both to our retailers and customers. The development of tech solutions like our newest EP Mall mobile app is yet another investment we are making to provide a unique shopping experience in the south west region of Romania”, said Bertrand Catteau, President of Catinvest Group.

Recently, Catinvest announced a new series of stores to be unveiled in Electroputere Mall, taking the total number of brands to 198 and consolidating the commercial center’s position as the main shopping destination in Oltenia. As a result, the company adds 5,500 square meters of retail spaces and 1,200 square meters for a shared open air terrace for the food court, including new brands like Intimissimi, Intimissimi Uomo, Colin’s, Calzedonia, SMYK, Kigili, Maxi Pet, Dr. Max Hyper Pharmacy, Pep & Pepper and Mobexpert’s first Concept Store in Romania

The French real estate group Catinvest, which owns and manages Electroputere Parc, also owns and manages several shopping centers in Romania – Carrefour Orhideea and Cora Pantelimon in Bucharest and Carrefour TOM in Constanta – as well as in Eastern Europe – Auchan Savoya Park in Budapest and Tesco Borska Pole in Plzen. Catinvest is also active in France in residential and shopping centers activities. In total, Catinvest owns and manages more than 500,000 square meters of spaces in France and Eastern Europe.
