With a career of more than 20 years, Victor Iancu brings a wealth of strategy consulting experience to EY, having spent the last 12 years advising clients on various strategic projects, including market entry to portfolio strategy, and organizational transformation.
His focus is on helping clients to create and capture value through identification of new business, product, and service opportunities, as well as market diversification and differentiation strategies that deliver growth and create new business models. Victor previously spent two years working for the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development in London and started his career as a macroeconomic researcher at the Romanian Academy.

Victor Iancu holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the National Institute of Economic Research at the Romanian Academy. He graduated in Law from the “Al. I Cuza” Faculty in Iași, and holds a Master’s in International Business from the Bucharest Academy of Economic Studies. Among other qualifications, he has a specialization in Design Thinking and Innovation obtained from Darden School of Business, University of Virginia, and a certification in Disruptive Strategy from INSEAD.
