Carrefour Romania's Board: Alina Gamauf to oversee the Expansion & Property Departments

Carrefour Romania has announced a strategic appointment to its board. Effective July 1st, Alina Gamauf, current Member of the Executive Board at Carrefour Romania, responsible for Human Resources, Corporate Affairs, and CSR, will now assume leadership of the Expansion and Property departments, further broadening her role within the organization.

Alina Gamauf assumes leadership of key departments as she continues her journey with Carrefour Romania

Working alongside her new team members, Mihai Tomescu, as the Hypermarket Expansion Director, and Bogdan Jigman, as the Property & Expansion Director for Market, Express, Supeco, Headquarters, and Logistics Centers, Alina will oversee the management of Carrefour Romania’s real estate assets.

With over 15 years of experience in Human Resources, both domestically and internationally, in Austria, Germany, and Italy, Alina brings expertise to her role. In January 2021, she joined Carrefour Romania as the Human Resources Director, and under her leadership, together with her team, they achieved remarkable milestones. They secured the prestigious Top Employer certification and successfully revalidated the certification for the European and International Standard on Gender Equality. In August 2021, Alina assumed responsibility for the CSR and Public Affairs teams, spearheading numerous impactful projects within the community and across the organization, ensuring a sustainable footprint.

The Carrefour Romania team has more than 15,000 dedicated employees spread across over 400 multi-format stores, including hypermarkets, supermarkets, discounters (Supeco), proximity stores, logistics centers, and headquarter.
