BestJobs has announced the appointment of Dan Puica as its new Chief Executive Officer, taking over the role from Calin Fusu, who founded the company in 2001 and led its operations for 18 years. Puica will manage BestJobs’s development and long-term growth plans.
Dan Puica started his career at KPMG Romania and has held several management roles in Romanian and international companies. In the last four years, he’s been part of the OLX group, first as Finance Manager and later as Business Management for Real Estate.
“I am glad that I’ve been able to step aside and leave BestJobs in good hands. We had 500 applicants for the job posted on BestJobs for this role, 25 initial interviews and 5 final interviews. But more importantly, I think that Dan will simply be a better CEO than I was and I am certain that both employers and applicants will confirm this over the next period,” said Calin Fusu.
Fusu will continue to be a member of the board at BestJobs and support the company’s development.
“The opportunity to take over a business like BestJobs and remodel it to better serve our clients is not just a challenge for me, but also a unique chance to build great things together with a great team. BestJobs is in an ideal position for growth and innovation – it has all the capabilities and resources of a large company, but is agile enough to allow flexibility in the way we serve our clients,” said Dan Puica.
BestJobs is one of the largest online recruitment platforms in Romania and uses cutting-edge digital technologies to offer efficient recruitment solutions. Recently, the platform launched a short-term recruitment tool, which allows users to try out several jobs and have a flexible work schedule.
