Vlad Tudosie was appointed Discovery Networks country manager for Romania and South-East Europe

Vlad Tudosie was appointed country manager of Discovery Networks Romania  & South East Europe starting with August 1. He will be replacing Phillip Luff, who worked as acting country manager across South-East Europe,  who was promoted country manager for Discovery Networks CEEMEA’s (Central and Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa) emerging business.

Tudosie will be in charge with the management of South-East Europe region, and its channel brands- TLC, Discovery Channel, Animal Planet, Discovery HD Showcase and ID Investigation Discovery.

He will be based in Bucharest and will work closely with partners throughout South-East Europe,  in Bulgaria, Serbia, Slovenia and Croatia.

He will report directly to Katarzynei Kieli, executive vice-president and managing director Discovery Networks CEEMEA.

Since January 2010, Tudosie worked at Intact Media Group as TV sales director, running the ad sales team, the special project division, traffic department and B2B research teams.

Tudosie has worked in Discovery Romania before, as was sales director for Discovery Romania.

Prior to joining Discovery, he worked for 8 years at Cable Direct where he was promoted from sales manager to managing director in just a year.

Tudosie started his career in 1998 as account manager for Printprod S.R.L., following a career in real estate.

He has an EMBA from Coles Kennesaw State University in the United States, where he studied between 2006 and 2008.
