Local soft drinks producer Tymbark Maspex Romania has reported for the first semester of 2011 a similar turnover to the one registered in the same period of last year, company representatives have announced. Against this backdrop, the company hopes to see a 10 percent turnover increase by yearend.
According to the same source, the Romanian soft drinks market has remained on a downward trend in the first semester. This year, Tymbark Maspex Romania has an investment budget of RON 7 million (approximately EUR 1.6 million). The company operates two bottling facilities in Valenii de Munte, Prahova county.
The company’s brand portfolio includes the Tymbark, Tedi, Tedi Play, Ciao, Tedi Waterrr and Carotella Plus soft drinks and water brands as well as several instant products.
Tymbark Maspex has been present in Romania since 1996 and until it rebranded in 2006, it was known as La Festa International. Tymbark Maspex Romania is owned by Polish Maspex Wadowice which runs operations in eight countries.
