There is a major risk that recession will return in 2012, Romanian president says

President Traian Basescu said he wishes the government to take measures so that by the end of the year there will be several thousand new workplaces that can be filled next year, according to Mediafax.

 “My feel is that, even if no one can forecast this, that in 2012 there is a major risk that recession will come back. I wish the government to compensate the risk of recession by creating work places. To make us less dependent on the external loans that have become more and more expensive due to the global economic situation, not due to Romania,” said Basescu.
