The National Authority for Scientific Research launches EUR 3mln project for innovation and technologic transfer

The National Authority for Scientific Research (ANCS) has launched a project that will contribute to the development of public policies in the field of durable innovation. 

The project, called The Development of ANCS’s Capacity to Elaborate Public Policies In The Domain of Innovation and Technologic Transfer for Insuring A Durable Socio-Economic Development.

 It is financed from the European Social Fund via Administrative Capacity Development Operational Program 2007-2013.

 The total eligible value of the project is EUR 3,128,209 (RON 13,400,625), no VAT. Of this sum, the funds covered by the European Social Fund are in value of EUR 2,658,978 (RON 11,390,531). The contribution of ANCS is EUR 469,231 (RON 2,010,093).

 The project will be implemented over a period of 24 months by ANCS in partnership with The Romanian Association for Technologic Transfer and Innovation (ARoTT).

 The general target of the project is to develop the administrative capacity of ANCS for improving the process of elaborating, monitoring and evaluating of public policies of innovation and technologic transfer.

 ANCS will create a national network of managers in innovation in the central and local public administration. This includes the fact that ANCS will train a number of 465 employees from the local public administration.

 Eventually, ANCS will develop a national standard for the technologic transfer process, which will comprise standard procedures regarding the dissemination of technologic information and technologic transfer. Last but not least,  a platform will be created for collecting data and providing relevant statistics.
