Romanian company Asesoft Net takes over Live2c.ro e-commerce application

Asesoft Net, a supplier of IT services and solutions, part of Asesoft Group, has taken over the Live2c.ro application of electronic commerce. The company developed the e-commerce platform ShopMania BIZ, which enables the creation of online stores. 

 This acquisition is part of the plans of Asesoft Net to expand the e-commerce solution Shopmania BIZ, which is available in 15 countries.

 “This acquisition will help Asesoft Net to consolidate and expand the ShopMania BIZ electronic commerce platform both locally and internationally,” said Arthur Radulescu, GM of Asesoft Net.

 The two brands, ShopMania BIZ and Live2c, will go in parallel for a period, after which the latter will be completely absorbed. The operations, know-how, client portfolio and secondary projects developed by Live2c will be completely integrated in the ShopMania BIZ system.

 ShopMania BIZ was launched in the last quarter of 2010 in Romania, United States and India, while at the beginning of this year it was expanded to other 12 countries, among which The Netherlands, Portugal, Russia, Spain, Italy and Hungary.

 Asesoft Net estimates that by the end of this year approximately 6,000 online stores will be created in Romania using the ShopMania BIZ platform, and over 10,000 in the other countries where it was launched.
