Pinum, part of the Italian group Nusco and one of the important players on local doors, windows and floor market has opened its biggest showroom from Eastern Europe, in Bucharest with a surface of 1,000 square meters, following an investment of EUR 400,000.
In 2016, Pinum maintained its turnover at EUR 8 million, and for this year it aims to grow by at least 15 percent.
The estimations are based on the distribution network expansion, by launching new production line of PVC that took place this year, as well as the export market development on the US market.
“We estimate a growth tendency based on a continuous development market, an evolution supported also by the consumers behavior. The new showroom represents an opportunity to present special models of doors, windows, and floor,” said Francesco Curcio, general executive director of Pinum.
Currently, Pinum portfolio comprises over 500 models of doors, windows, of PVC and aluminium, as well as a wide range of floor materials.
“Last year, 70 percent of the total sales volume was ensured by doors, completed by carpentry of PVC and floors. After a wide process of modernization and technologization and an investment of EUR 500,000, the Pinum factory from Romania has currently a capacity of 6,000 doors/month and 2,000 windows/month, 15 percent of the production being exported in Italy and the US,” added Curcio.
