MSD Romania appoints new managing director

Steve Warner is the new managing director of MSD Romania. He is taking over from Agata Jakoncic who was recently promoted to regional director of MSD Balkan Region.

Warner has amassed extensive experience in the pharmaceuticals industry over the years, having worked for the company in various locations worldwide. His most recent appointments were in Asia where he worked for the MSD subsidiaries in Thailand and South Korea. Before coming to Romania Warner served as marketing and sales director for MSD South Korea.

He holds a degree in biology and a MBA in international business & finance. Warner has also served in the US army for 22 years.
