McDonalds opens first restaurant featuring a McCafe in ParkLake

McDonalds has opened its 68th restaurant in ParkLake, the first in a shopping mall to feature a McCafe, following a RON 2,5 million investment. The new restaurant, spread over 118 square meters, also includes a new operating platform.

The McDonalds hosted by ParkLake Plaza is the first restaurant în Romania to use Platform Integration, a new operating system that is expected to bring a major change in the way the kitchens are organzied, as well as impact customer experience.

The restaurant chain posted a record number of clients in July. „Our objective is to remain the largest restaurant chain in Romania but also the most appreciated. The record number of clients in July – 6,5 million – proved to us once again that we are the preferred place to dine for millions of people and that our growth objectives are achievable. That is why, we are accellerating extension and modernizing plans, and the implementation of new operating platform is an important step in this direction,” General Director Premier Restaurants Romania Daniel Boaje said in a press release.
